At Stanley/Stella, the entire production chain is controlled, from the cotton fields in India through to the finest spinning and knitting mills in Bangladesh. Once dyed, sewn and packaged, the garments are shipped to Belgium before being distributed across Europe. The brand ensures that every partner factory provides its employees with good working conditions.

Since 2018, Stanley/Stella has also used recycled polyester to make its sweatshirts more stable, its accessories more robust and its jackets more durable. Recycling polyester saves a great deal of energy during the manufacturing process and helps reduce plastic waste, one of the greatest environmental challenges of our time.

Our partners are certified by several independent bodies and to a range of standards:
Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certifies the production of organic fibres;
the Global Recycle Standard (GRS) label audits recycled textiles;
PETA guarantees products made without animal testing or animal-derived materials;
OEKO-TEX® assesses harmful substances present in fabrics;
Organic Content Standard (OCS) verifies the presence and quantity of organic materials in a finished product.
